• CubaPLUS will be present in the 27th International Trade Fair
The 27th International Havana Trade Fair will be held in Expocuba, Havanafrom November 2 to 7. Cubaplus will be present with a stand in the Canadian pavilion.

In an exclusive interview with Cubaplus, Cuba's Chamber of Commerce VP Odalys Seijo asserted that this year's International Havana Trade Fair (FIHAV), the 27th, will go beyond strictly commercial promotion by also providing a space for development, friendship and multilateral cooperation.
"FIHAV has served to portray the reality of our country and to present the opportunities offered by the Cuban market, as much in exports as in goods and services, as well as the possibility to satisfy our import needs. It has also given a fresh boost to the different modalities in cooperation and promotion of foreign investment in diverse fields of our economy, " noted Ms. Seijo.

• Cuba celebrates on September 27th the " World Tourism Day"

The date, chosen in 1970 by The World Tourism Organization to mark the approval of its statutes, it had been since then a date to acknowledge the social, cultural and economical importance of tourism.
With the slogan: " Tourism, dedication to diversity", Cuba is celebrating the World Tourism Day this September 27th, 09.
Cuba notices the importance of the diversity in the tourist industry and the country lays emphasis on how the tourism bring the world together and the need to join forces to face up the difficulties of our time.
The main activities taking place in the island to honor this date are related with the preparation of all the tourist infrastructure and getting ready for the up coming winter season in order to make season 2009/2010 one of the most successful ever.
The Cuba Tourist Board want to express their most heartfelt appreciation to all their travel partners: Tour operators, travel agents, airlines, hotelier partners, the travel media and to all the tourist industry employees and the Cuban people.
