The Bella Cubana:
Asian Food in Havana

There is a restaurant in the Cuban capital where lovers of Asian food can pleasurably satisfy their tastes with Japanese, Chinese and Thai dishes.

The ten-year-old "La Bella Cubana", in the modern and luxurious Meliá Habana Hotel in opulent Miramar, is an Oriental fusion restaurant, serving meats prepared in the Asian manner with Cuban components, especially vegetables.

Chef Roberto Yagui, a Peruvian with Japanese parents, has 15 years experience as a chef and there is nothing more important to him than his clients' satisfaction.

The 5-fork restaurant, previously known for its international and Basque cuisine, has only been offering oriental fusion style food for a year
